I want to start by saying that I’ve decided to step away from TikTok. It just doesn’t align with my values anymore and isn’t the right platform for promoting my brand, which focuses on body positivity and empowerment. I'm tired of getting flagged and working on content for that platform that will not benefit me.

I believe in creating spaces that uplift and celebrate all bodies, and I’m committed to sharing content that truly reflects those ideals. There are so many other ways to connect and inspire, and I’m excited to explore new avenues that resonate more with my mission.

Embracing my body and choosing to show extra skin online has influenced my path. This choice doesn’t define my professionalism or diminish my worth; instead, it enriches my identity and informs my perspective in powerful ways. In a world and industry often quick to judge appearances, I’ve discovered that self-expression and professionalism can coexist harmoniously. I'm 28, and I have no regrets about my digital footprint. I've built a brand around embracing and loving the skin I'm in.

Throughout my career, I’ve explored various roles, including modeling nude and in underwear, and spending two years working in a strip club. Each experience has added unique layers to my understanding of confidence and empowerment. In addition to these roles, I’ve also modeled in multiple capacities within the fine arts, celebrating the beauty of the human form through artistic expression.

The first few times I went to the club, it was to showcase the beauty of all body types. We launched an event called "Thicc Thursday," which welcomed plus-size dancers and burlesque artists from all over Florida to perform in a safe, body-positive environment. This initiative was started by the internationally known burlesque dancer, Misty Rose, and it truly celebrated diversity and self-love. There, I connected with Florida burlesque producer Ruby Tesla and reunited with Nina Divina, an amazing producer from Orlando and currently building a community and making strides in New York. It was great to engage with fellow creatives who share a commitment to body positivity and self-expression. These incredible women inspire me not just through their artistry, but by building a community that celebrates talented individuals for who they are. Their dedication to creating an inclusive space reminds me how powerful self-love and authenticity can be.

During my time in this entertainment industry, I have learned skills that extended beyond the stage. I taught myself how to pair outfits that reflect my personality and style, creating looks that make me feel confident and empowered. Dancing, free flowing on a pole, and mastering the art of walking in 7-8" heels was a challenge that honed my poise and grace. I also dedicated time to perfecting my makeup techniques, learning how to enhance my features in a way that makes me feel powerful.

It’s rare to see a plus-size woman in a club, but I did it—and made it look effortless. Stepping onto that stage, I felt empowered, breaking stereotypes and showing that confidence knows no size. I embraced every curve, turning the spotlight into a space in which I owned. My time in the industry has been more than sexy outfits and performances; it was a statement that beauty comes in every form, and I was proud to be part of that journey.

Moreover, I focused on improving my communication skills. It was a temporary gig I could jump back into whenever I want. This experience has let me be my true self, have a blast, and stay active, all while keeping safety in mind. It’s been an empowering journey that’s truly deepened my love for body positivity and self-expression. My sobriety was respected at the venues I worked at.

WARNING: It’s essential to be ready for both the highs and the lows, and to prioritize your mental and emotional well-being. If you’re considering this path, take the time to reflect on whether it aligns with your personal goals and comfort level... While the experience can be empowering, it’s important to know that this job isn’t for every woman.

Rather than detracting from my professionalism, showcasing my body has deepened my connections with others. It has created a vibrant community of support, where conversations about body image, self-acceptance, and empowerment flourish. I’ve connected with individuals who share similar experiences, (all over the world) while fostering an understanding that transcends appearances.

As I transition to a new chapter in my life, my focus is now on school and conducting extensive job research. I’m excited to explore new opportunities that align with my educational goals while still honoring the lessons I’ve learned from my past experiences. The skills I gained in the entertainment industry—creativity, confidence, and a strong sense of self—will continue to inform my professional journey.

Ultimately, revealing extra skin is just one aspect of who I am. It does not overshadow my skills, dedication, or professionalism; rather, it complements my journey, reminding me that authenticity and self-expression can thrive in any professional arena.

By breaking down barriers and challenging stereotypes, I hope to inspire others to embrace their own bodies and express themselves freely.

In a world where judgment often looms, I choose to stand tall and proud. My journey is a testament to the idea that professionalism is not confined to rigid standards but can encompass a wide range of expressions. By celebrating my body and honing my skills, I invite others to celebrate theirs, fostering a culture of acceptance and empowerment in the arts and beyond.

As I look ahead, I’m really excited to dive into some new certifications that will help me grow and support my mission of body positivity and empowerment. I can’t wait to get into Hootsuite and learn the ins and outs of social media management so I can better connect with all of you across different platforms.

I’m also looking forward to the SeeHer Education program, which will help me explore representation and inclusion more deeply. It’s so important to create content that really resonates with diverse voices. Plus, I’m eager to tackle LinkedIn Training to polish my professional presence and connect with others who share my passions.

And of course, HubSpot Academy is on my list too! I’m excited to learn about marketing and content strategy to help me spread my message even more effectively. These certifications will not only boost my skills but also empower me to contribute to a brighter, more inclusive future where authenticity can truly shine.

Here’s to new beginnings, where authenticity and empowerment pave the way for a brighter, more inclusive future.
